Morning Call - June 15, 2026
Fine, sun for many
Warm south

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 15th June 2026
Duty forecaster: Dan Graves

A weak front gradually pushes a veil of high cloud northeastwards through afternoon, some isolated patchy rain in England and later in west Scotland.

Good morning,

Pressure is beginning to drop today, but with the core of high pressure just over the North Sea, the day will remain quite fair for most. Some scattered showery rain affecting England with patchy high cloud, but most will be dry with good sunshine. A veil of high cloud will increasingly build as the day goes, weakening the sunshine. Ireland and northwest parts of Britain will be sooner cloudier, and some patchy rain will slip into northern parts of Ireland and west Scotland later in the day. Some early low cloud in the northeast, but this will clear for fine conditions as well. Highs will rise to 22C in the south of England, staying nearer 16 or 17C Scotland.

The front over Scotland will strengthen overnight; extended spells of rain across much of Scotland with plenty pushing further south into north England as well. Rain more patchy in Ireland. England and Wales are likely dry but cloudier, and the far southwest may become quite murky with a fine drizzle near coasts and upland areas. Lows of 9 to 12C.

Enjoy the day!
