Wet central and eastern Mediterranean, fair in the west

Wednesday
Fine through Portugal and most of Spain today although some showers in northern Spain. Rain for the Balearics and this rain will be heavier in Italy with thunderstorms and some flooding likely. Very unsettled in Greece with heavy periods of rain, again with the risk of flooding.
Some showery rain in western France, fair in the east. A fine day for the Low Countries and for Germany. Cloud and some rain in southern areas of Poland. Austria and Hungary will be fair with sunny spells. Scattered showers in Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with sunny spells. The Baltic States will be fair as well with sunny spells here. A fair day for mFinland, sunshine again here. Fair in central and southern Norway as well as southern Sweden. Rain in northern and western Norway.

Thursday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal on Thursday. The Balearics will be fair too, more sunshine here. Heavy showers over Italy, thunderstorms in the south. Further rain and thunderstorms for Greece.
Patchy rain in the west of France but overall fair again. Scattered showers for the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fair for Poland, again a few showers in the north. Austria and eastern Switzerland will have showers whilst Hungary is dry and bright.
Rain and cloud for Denmark as well as southern Sweden. Fair for the Baltic States and for Finland. Fine in northern Sweden. Norway will be fair overall although some showery rain in the far north.
