Tuesday A weakening front slipping southwards across Britain and Ireland brings cloud and patchy rain or drizzle to west and northwestern areas, fading out as it pushes further into Wales during the afternoon. Central, east and southeastern England stays generally dry with sunny spells, best sunshine likely in the morning. Drizzly showers come into western Scotland on westerly breezes, dry in eastern Scotland. Highs ranging from 25°C in southeast England to 14°C toward northwest Scotland.
Wednesday High pressure dominates, bringing a mostly dry and bright day across the country, plenty of sunshine. A few showers are possible over the Northwest Highlands and the Northern Isles. Coastal fog toward the southwest and near the Irish Sea, some misty low cloud more widely in western areas early in the day. High cloud over Scotland. Light and variable winds, southwesterly breezes in the north. Warm and rather humid, highs of 27°C in the southeast and 15°C in the northwest.
