A bright start for many, but cloud will soon increase from the west as rain spreads from the northwest, heavy at times across Scotland and northern Ireland. Some snow is expected over the Highland peaks. Maximum temperatures near 10°C in the south and 8°C in the north.


Tuesday 28/10/2025
Strong northwesterly winds will bring scattered showers, more frequent along coastal areas. A longer spell of light rain may develop over northwest Ireland. Feeling rather cold in the wind, with highs of 14°C in the south and 10°C in the north.


 


Wednesday 29/10/2025
higher ground. Scattered showers for Scotland, mainly in the north and west. Highs around 14°C in the south and 10°C in the north.



 
 
 


Thursday 30/10/2025
Some light, patchy rain in the south during the morning, then turning drier as high pressure builds from the west. Scotland will see heavier showers and strong winds. Highs of 12°C in the south and 8°C in the north.



 
 
 


Friday 31/10/2025
A developing low pressure system will move in from the south, bringing strong winds and heavy rain, clearing from the south by evening. Turning milder with highs near 14°C in the south and 10°C in the north.



 
 
 


Saturday 01/1/2025
Further spells of heavy rain and strong winds, with gales possible in the west. Milder overall, with highs around 16°C in the south and 12°C in the north.
